Life as a human can be an extremely challenging experience. Have you ever felt like you were made for something greater? You are a person, and as a person, your life truly matters. I believe that we were created for something so much greater, and one of our great longings is to experience some of that greatness here on earth. Our experiences in life help to shape the way we view the world, and when bad things happen to us, that can harm the way we see. I would love to walk alongside you to regain what seems lost. It is my hope to help all of my clients to optimize the person they were created to be! I look forward to meeting you!

I love working with others who struggle with depression, anxiety, have issues with their identity or family. I also love counseling married couples. My life experiences have helped me in being able to help others through some of life's most challenging times.

If you are struggling with experiences of life that are causing a significant struggle in your life, would you please take the brave first step of just contacting me today? I promise to do my best to connect to you in a non-threatening or questioning way. My hope is to help in whatever way I can. I take your willingness to reach out to me very seriously.

Congratulations on taking the next step in your wellness journey. For most this decision takes courage and I want you to know that I’m excited to journey with you.

One of my greatest passions is helping people discover their potential through developing their own tools and skills to work thru life’s complexities. For over 15 years I’ve come alongside individuals, couples, and families struggling with a variety of concerns. Together we will work towards rebuilding the way your whole body responds to your experiences in life and will equip you with the right tools so you feel confident to pursue your goals towards healing. Whether professionally, personally or a little bit of both you and I will tailor an individual approach that will help you during times when you need it most.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Five Factor Personality Model, and the use of the Enneagram are a few therapeutic styles I use on a regular basis. In addition, I am a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional, which allows me to work with individuals looking for holistic approaches to wellness involving dietary, nutritional, and other integrative strategies.

I’m looking forward to meeting with you!

Your life is your story. It might be adventurous, traumatic, bland, exciting, sad, or scary beyond belief. Whether life feels like too much or not enough, you are the main character. You get a say in how the next chapter is written.

My primary modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness. I also recognize Polyvagal Theory and use somatic techniques. Working from an integrated context, I believe the human experience is systemic. Your physical health, spiritual health, and mental health are all connected and impact one another in a real way. It often requires attention to all three areas to improve your life experience.

If you choose to work with me, it is my role to walk beside you for a time. I will use the resources I have gathered through a lifetime of experiences and more than a decade of professional practice to assist you in finding balance in an integrative way.

Our relationships are the perpetual threads that run through our lives – affecting our thoughts, behaviors, and interpretations of ourselves and the world around us. When our relationships are healthy, secure, and consistent, we can be resilient and confident to face the storms around and within us. When our relationships feel distant, compromised, or insecure, we lose the strength and grit necessary to be and do our best. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate, Briana believes that many mental health concerns can find both their place of hurt and place of healing within intimate relationships. She aspires to work with you to build a more fulfilling marital, familial, and personal life.

Utilizing evidence-based practices and processes, Briana loves to listen to, understand, and equip every member of the family to work towards tangible and achievable goals. She has extensive experience working with individuals ages 13 and older on concerns including anxiety, depression, stage of life concerns, grief, and trauma. She also specializes in working with couples and families presenting with a wide range of needs, such as conflict resolution, communication, sexual intimacy, parenting, and premarital counseling. Briana is Level I and II Gottman Couples Therapy Certified, and she delights in the opportunity to integrate the Christian faith into therapy upon request. Briana is currently accepting telehealth appointments.

Therapist MFT, LMFT-A

After 10 years of working in marketing and videography, I realized a real passion for therapy and the power of the therapeutic relationship by attending my own counseling. My training and experience with clients have only confirmed and grown this passion in me.

We all have parts of ourselves that we like, and we have parts of ourselves that frustrate, confuse, or scare us. I’m interested in the whole of a person - both internally and externally - and desire to create a safe space for all parts of my clients. It is my hope to help you create acceptance and safety for these parts of you as well. Being trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) gives me a holistic, systems-focused approach to clients’ lives. My experience with clients has cultivated a passion for trauma-informed, attachment-based, and person-centered care.

I have experience working with relationship skills and issues, boundaries, transitions, exploration of values, depression and anxiety, trauma, narcissistic abuse, women’s sexuality, purity culture and its effects on men and women, as well as spiritual abuse. I have also been trained in EMDR and Gottman Couples Therapy Level 1. I am interested in seeing young adults, adults, couples, and families.

Nehls

Intern

Having previously graduated from Bethel University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, I am a third-year graduate student in the counseling program at Grace College. I will be graduating in May of 2025 and am planning to pursue licensure as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. With a background in nursing, I made the shift to counseling because I believe it has the power to be revolutionary for an individual. I am a dedicated student of human behavior, committed to understanding and empathizing with each unique story. I believe in the importance of holistic care and am passionate about learning how the mind and body interact. My experience spans working with anxiety, depression, disordered eating, addiction, and spirituality, equipping me to guide others through their challenges toward holistic well-being.

My approach centers on authenticity and getting to the heart of the matter, ensuring each individual feels genuinely heard and supported. I value that counseling gives an individual the space to be vulnerable with their story, wrestle and ask hard questions, exercise emotional attunement, and utilize their unique strengths. Passionate about walking alongside individuals on their journey, I strive to foster an environment where empathy and genuine connection can lead to transformative healing. Counseling is a sacred privilege, and I am committed to holding space for whatever an individual may bring.
